Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible
The controller responsible for this website (prayerstone.app) under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Christian Kasper. For any privacy question you can reach us at prayerstoneapp(at)proton(dot)me.
2. What this website collects
This site is a purely informational marketing website for the Prayer Stone app. We do not use cookies, do not store IP addresses, do not fingerprint your device, and do not track you across websites.
To understand traffic we use Vercel Analytics, which gathers only aggregated, anonymised information — such as which pages are viewed, browser type, device type and approximate region. This data cannot be traced back to an individual.
3. If you contact us
Our contact form opens your own email client — your message is sent to us directly by email, not through a server on this website. When you write to us, we process the details you provide (your name, email address and the content of your message) solely to respond to your enquiry.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where relevant, taking steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR). We keep your message only as long as needed to handle your request, and we do not share it with third parties.
4. Processors
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes data on our behalf as a hosting and analytics provider in a GDPR-compliant manner. No advertising networks, social-media pixels or tracking widgets are used.
5. The Prayer Stone app
This policy covers the website. The iPhone app has its own privacy policy; the app's privacy label on the App Store additionally describes how it handles data. Your prayers, streaks and settings stay on your device (or in your iCloud) and are not sent to us.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing. Because the website stores no identifiable personal data, in practice these rights mostly concern messages you send us directly. To exercise them, email prayerstoneapp(at)proton(dot)me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA; likewise, we do not sell or share identifiable data collected through the website.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when needed. The current version, with its date, will always be available on this page.
